Cathleen Kalcic, President

Cathleen joined Peninsula Women's Chorus in 1989 and has served as Chorus Coordinator, Board Member, and Gala Committee Chair. Cathleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Cathleen now works part time as a cantor for the Roman Catholic Church, singing at Sunday masses, weddings, and funerals throughout the Diocese of San Jose and the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

Eithne Pardini, Vice President

Eithne Pardini has been singing with the PWC since 1994. She served on the faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for many years where she taught French to opera singers. She received a B.A. in French and an M.A. in French literature from Notre Dame de Namur University, studying for a year in Aix-en-Provence, France. She also holds D.A.L.F. and D.E.L.F. diplomas and is a member of the Foreign Language Honor Society Alpha Mu Gamma. In addition to singing with the PWC, Eithne teaches piano privately.

Andra Marynowski, Treasurer

Andra Marynowski has been singing with the PWC since 1981. She has also served as board treasurer since 1988! In addition to her work on the board, she also works with the grants committee to find new ways to support and fund the PWC.
Currently Andra works as a project manager at 8x8, Inc.

Judy Sweet, Secretary

Judy Sweet began singing first soprano with PWC in 1994. This is her third term as Board Secretary and she has served on the Funds Development, Governance and Operations Committees. Her first singing experiences were in church and school choruses. In college she sang in a women's a cappella group. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Wilson College. Judy retired a few years ago from Genentech where she worked as a technical writer/editor in Clinical Data Management.

Amy Fickenscher, Chorus Coordinator
Amy Fickenscher first sang with PWC during the 2009-2010 season and returned in 2015. Amy is a music educator, specializing in teaching choral and vocal music to young singers. Most recently, Amy served as an adjunct faculty member in Music Education at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, where she worked with pre-service Choral Music Education students. At the same time, Amy was the Director of Elementary Choirs at Pacific Youth Choir in Portland, Oregon. She also served on the artistic faculty of the San Francisco Girls Chorus from 2009-2012. She was the Director of Chorus School Level II, the Preparatory Chorus, and SFGC Outreach Programs. Amy was also the Interim Co-Artistic Director of the Bay Area Women's Vocal Ensemble, Musae, in which she was a singer-member for two seasons.
Amy holds a Bachelor and a Master of Music in Music Education from the University of Oregon. Amy has served as an elementary music specialist in the Los Gatos Union School District in Los Gatos, California and the South Lane County School District in Cottage Grove, Oregon. She holds Level 1 and Level 2 Kodály Certification as well as Level I Orff Schulwerk Certification.

Lisa Collart

Lisa Collart began singing with the PWC in 1994. She has been the section leader for the second altos for many years, and has served three terms on the board. Prior to joining the PWC, Lisa sang in a choir at Amherst College, where she received a BA degree in Mathematics in 1991. After graduating, she lived a year abroad in China, and then returned to the Bay Area where she joined a high tech firm. She received her Masters in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from Mills College in 2002, and worked as a software engineer at InterActual Technologies. Currently, she is a math tutor and is engaged in many volunteer activities.

Ruthellen Dickinson
Ruthellen Dickinson joined the Peninsula Women’s Chorus in 1997 and soon became involved in PWC’s governance, serving as board president for five years. She has always loved to sing. Although she’s no longer a PWC singer, she greatly enjoyed her time with the chorus.
A graduate of the University of Michigan with a major in psychology, she worked for many years in public educational agencies as a business analyst, project manager, and client services manager. She is now enjoying retirement, along with some occasional consulting. Her daughter and son-in-law live nearby, and together they enjoy exploring the many natural wonders of Northern California.

Yiting Jin

Yiting took her first step as a musician at the age of four on the piano and began singing with choirs in middle school. An East Coast transplant, she joined the PWC as an Alto 2 in 2011 and is thrilled to be discovering and performing contemporary music. Her interests outside of singing and music include figure skating, traveling, mentoring and solving puzzles.
Yiting has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University and is a product manager at VMware, an enterprise software company in Palo Alto.

Jane Walker

Jane Walker grew up singing in a rural Pennsylvania church choir along with her parents and 5 siblings. She recently rediscovered her joy of singing in voice classes at Foothill College and joined the PWC in 2009.
Jane holds a BS in Nursing from the University of Miami in Florida and has two decades of experience in directing the clinical evaluation of new pharmaceuticals. She has raised 4 children and served on the board of a local theatre. Jane creates both decorative and functional art using a variety of media.
